UNIVERSITIES
Among the most important universities located in the Republic of Ireland Trinity College Dublin is highlighted. It is located in the center of the Irish capital, specifically around Nassau and Pearse Street. 

 
                               
It was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I of England with the intention of being "the mother" of all other universities already built in that territory. Moreover, this university was built as a model of Oxford and Cambridge. 

Currently, the university offers all types of studies, from the humanities to scientific. Because of this, Trinity College is considered one of the best universities in the world. This is well regarded for the reason that in recent years has invested large amount of money to advance public inquiries.

INDUSTRIES AND FACTORIES
The Guinness is a national symbol of Ireland. In occasions very strange, an alcoholic beverage is identified with a nation and this is a case. The brewery Guinness gets,  after many years, become famous worldwide. The Guinness brewery, built in 1759, is an architectural jewel that perfectly accompanies the beer and that is in the city center.

HISTORICAL PLACES
Dublin Castle was originally built in the thirteenth century in what was a Viking settlement. He served as a military fortress, prison, treasury, court and seat of the British Administration in Ireland for 700 years. From 1922, when Ireland was separated from the United Kingdom, the castle ceased to have political importance.





COMERCIAL STREETS
Grafton Street is one of the largest and busiest streets throughout the city, and one of the best pedestrian shopping streets. This is located in the south of Dublin. In this street we can find all kinds of shops: clothes, food, souvenirs, etc. With its wide variety of shops, this has become one of the most visited tourist sites.  
This place also has one of the most visited shopping malls annually by the Irish, called Stephens Green. The center has more than 100 outlets.
 

Another of the most famous streets of Dublin's is O 'Connell Street. Here, in addition to finding a variety of shops, there are also a lot of historical monuments. 
Finally, some of the most famous shopping centers that can be found in Ireland are Clerys, located on O'Connell Street, and Dundrum.

HALL CONCERT
The National Concert Hall is a concert hall located on Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin and is the leading national venue for classical music concerts in Ireland.

Formerly, this building was built by the University of Dublin. Later, when the university moved to another part of the city, in 1981, was finally open to the public. Currently, this theater is one of the most famous in the world, in visiting orchestras and artists known throughout the global world. BULDINGS
The Custom House is a neoclassical building of the eighteenth century Dublin in the north of the River Liffey near Matt Talbot Bridge. 
It was designed by James Gandon and customs building Dublin Port. It was completed in 1791 at a cost of £ 200,000. 

The four facades are decorated with coats of arms and ornamental sculptures representing the Irish rivers such as the head of the River Liffey allegorical work of Edward Smyth as the other thirteen.



The Kilmainham Gaol is a former prison, now a museum, which is just off Dublin. The jail was built in 1796. It has been open as a museum since 1986.'s Visit lasts an hour and is done only with a guide, entrance costs about 6 euros. It is very interesting because the guides know much about the stories of the prisoners. The prison was used for several films, including In the Name of the Father.




MONUMENTS
The Spire of Dublin is a work of art made ​​of steel. It is a monument that is 120 meters high, making the sculpture work of high art in the world. 
The Spire was designed by Ian Ritchie, a firm of architects, as elegant and simple. Construction began in 2002. Construction was more complicated than anticipated by the laws of the city, but it opened in 2003. 

This sculpture is part of the renovation of the street in 1999 to revitalize the neighborhood. In this place was a column of Nelson, which was destroyed by the IRA before pumping. Since then the glory of the street fell, and so he wanted to renew to give a new breath. 



Molly Malone  is a popular statue, set in Dublin, Ireland, which has become the unofficial anthem of Dublin City.The Molly Malone statue in Grafton Street was unveiled by then Lord Mayor of Dublin, Alderman Ben Briscoe during the 1988.




LIBRARIES
In the Irish capital we can find a variety of libraries to find all types of literature. Still, one of the most important, listed above, is located at the University of Trinity College, Dublin. This library was designed by James Ussher and was opened in 2003. From this date, it has become a meeting point for many students. 
It is the largest research library in Ireland, following which has become a national library of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. This library has three floors open to the public during the week. 4.25 million books contained, including 30,000 current serials and significant collections of manuscripts, maps and printed music. One of the most famous books in the world are here and recorded the Book of Kells.

CATHEDRAL AND CHURCHES
Christ Church Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is the oldest of the two Protestant cathedrals in Dublin and is the official cathedral. The cathedral was built in 1028 by the Viking King Sitric, though the current structure was not obtained until 1172. 
      
In the cathedral you can visit several places, but one that stands out is the crypt. This is the UK's largest crypt. This cathedral is the chapel of St. Lawrence O'Toole, who was the first archbishop of Ireland. In addition, outside the temple, you can see a bridge that connects the cathedral with the Viking Museum. 
 
Another of the oldest cathedrals in Dublin is San Cathedral Patrick. The present cathedral was built from 1200. 
Inside the cathedral you will find many old issues. These monuments include the altar, which remains intact since its construction, and some plates memorial tablets of significant figures in Irish society. 



St. Audoen's Church is the church of the parish of St. Audoen in theChurch of Ireland, located in the south of the River Liffey at Cornmarket in Dublin, Ireland. This was close to the centre of the medieval city. The parish is in the Diocese of Dublin St. Audoen's is the oldest parish church in Dublin and still used as such. 

THEATERS
Abbey Theatre in Lower Abbey Street is the national theater of Ireland, and in it you can see works of Irish authors of all time. In the same building is Peacock Theatre, dedicated to independent works of young writers. 



The rival of the Abbey is the Gate Theatre on Parnell Square, which has a strong international and between works depicting there from classic works of art reputation.


PARKS
One of the parks that are required to visit if we travel to Dublin is the Phoenix Park. This is the largest urban park in Europe, which was created in 1662.
